Thunder shortlisted as vinyl artwork of the year 2021

Thunder’s latest LP ‘All the right noises’ has been shortlisted for vinyl artwork of the year.

The photo cover was shot by the band’s long term collaborator Jason Joyce and features our Singing Ringing Tree sculpture.

The sculpture, which also appears in the video for ‘Last One Out Turn Off The Lights’, is set in Burnley, Lancashire, and resembles a tree which harnesses the energy of the wind to create a choral, discordant sound.
